An immigration physical is a physical exam Dr. Lopez completes to ensure you’re healthy enough to apply for United States citizenship or a green card.
She completes the diagnostic testing necessary to make sure you don’t have a communicable disease and offers treatment when necessary to help you pass your health exam.
Before you arrive at Dr. Lopez’s office for an immigration physical, make sure to bring with you the following items:

During an immigration physical, Dr. Lopez and her team check your weight, pulse, blood pressure, and other vital signs. She discusses your medical history and asks about any symptoms you may be experiencing.
Dr. Lopez evaluates your eyes, ears, nose, throat, limbs, abdomen, breathing, and heart rate. She offers vision and hearing screening and uses blood tests to detect or rule out communicable diseases, such as:
Dr. Lopez makes sure you’re up to date with vaccinations or administers those you require. If you need medications or other treatments for an illness or disease, Dr. Lopez and her team offer them to help you pass your immigration physical.
After your physical exam, Dr. Lopez lets you know if you’ve passed the exam or require additional diagnostic testing or treatment. If your health makes you eligible for immigration, she fills out form I-693 and seals it in an envelope so you can submit the information to USCIS.
Dr. Lopez gives you a copy of the completed forms for your records. USCIS doesn’t accept forms in envelopes that have been opened or altered in any way.
If you require an immigration physical, you can trust Dr. Lopez and her team with your care. She offers convenient scheduling and the most affordable physicals in the area. Book an appointment with Luz Angela Lopez, MD, over the phone or online today.
